P&O Ferrymasters are Contract Managers for several Corus sites in both the UK and Europe
P&O is responsible for ensuring that its subcontractors are aware of the Site Safety and Load Securing Requirements when Loading from these sites.
The contents of this Web Site are intended as an aide memoir to ALL Companies 
and individuals involved with the transportation of STEEL PRODUCTS 
on behalf of P&O Ferrymasters Limited and their customers.
 
NOTE:-
ALL Recommendations are to be complied with and are considered to be the 
MINIMUM acceptable to CORUS and P&O Ferrymasters. It is the prerogative
of every driver to apply additional straps and restraints as they may see fit.

The restraints used should have a MINIMUM LC2000 daN when loading from the UK and Minimum LC2500when loading from Corus Ijmuiden.

Personal Protective Equipment

All steel producers / stockholders have the same basic requirements for visitors 
to their site with regard to P.P.E. we expect that ALL DRIVERS comply with these.
HARD HAT with Chin Strap,
SAFETY FOOTWEAR,
HI VIZ VEST/COAT,
GLOVES
Also EAR DEFENDERS & SAFETY GLASSES (In certain designated areas)
ARMS and LEGS SHOULD BE COVERED
