Demand for a total service package for Iberia has led to the launch of a new daily Less Than Truckload (LTL) service between the UK and Spain by P&O Ferrymasters.

This new service involves the co-ordination of three main hubs. Collections in the UK are managed by the company’s Leicester hub while depots in Barcelona and Madrid handle distribution throughout Spain. The UK-Spain operation is managed by the specialist Iberian team based in Dover.

The move builds on the close links that have been established in recent times between the freight management teams in the UK and Spain. These teams work with strategic partners in both countries to identify round trip opportunities that result in all-round efficiencies and business benefits for the clients.
