Inside Sales Administartor / Business Development

You will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for the acquisition of new customers to expand our internationally dedicated client base. The team consists of experienced employees and works together with other operational and supportive departments within the organisation to achieve a high level of service for our customers.
Your role
In this job role you are responsible for selling all products of P&O Ferrymasters Amsterdam, by gaining new customers and enlarging volumes with existing customers. The ideal candidate is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Management team.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Gathering information about prospects and approaching them with information about the activities of P&O Ferrymasters
- Joining of outside sales on a regular base when visiting existing and / or new prospects
- Monitoring the developments of existing and / or new prospects
- Enlarging volumes with existing accounts and new customers
- Providing necessary quotations for tender process related to Amsterdam traffic
- Providing day to day quotations and follow-up
- Marketing activities

Who you areAs Inside Sales Administrator / Business Development you have good communication & social skills, influencing skills and you are extrovert, emphatic, pragmatic, target driven and ambitious.
What you have- Educated to a minimum MBO level or equivalent
- Experience in a commercial job role (preferably in logistics)
- Good command of Dutch and English language, German is preferred
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Strong communication skills and commercial drive
- Accurate and eye for detail
- Flexible and immune to stress
- Hands-on mentality
- Team player
