Business Development Manager, Eastern Europe

Your department

You will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for delivering new business growth across our core products. Your team consists of experienced colleagues and young talents willing to learn the business. The successful implementation of new business is achieved by teaming up with other operational and supportive departments within the organisation, with the shared aim of achieving the very best for our customers.

So what's this job all about?

As Business Development Manager Eastern Europe you are responsible for generating new profitable business across all products and thereby delivering on the strategic objectives and targets to generate growth for P&O Ferrymasters.

Other key responsibilities include

• Manage lead generation by creating high quality new business leads
  •    Successfully convert your new business leads to opportunities that supports our asset network as well as logistic capabilities
  •    Ensure a healthy sales pipeline for new business customers
  •    Involve and align with all relevant internal stakeholders during the sales process
  •    Design, propose and negotiate profitable contracts
  •    Secure new profitable business by joining exhibitions and conferences
  •    Support on a successful implementation of new contracts through handover/implementation

Background and Education
•    Are educated to a minimum of Bachelor level or equivalent (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration
•    Have 3- 5 years’ experience in a Business Development Manager role in transport/logistics/maritime industry;
•    Are able to communicate in English fluently, other Eastern European languages are preferred;
•    Are able to act independently and manage complexity with high-stress resistance;
•    Are strategical, commercial, and service-minded.
