Contract Manager

Your Role

As a Contract Manager you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team, which is responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to an internationally dedicated client base. The main purpose of your role will be acting as the preferred contact towards the most important and strategic customers of POFM. Working close with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure proactive communication and constant improvement. Joint responsibility with Sales to increase share of wallet, while being on top of performance levels, taking corrective actions in case needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with corporate accounts, both operationally and strategically; act as profit owner and oversee high-level cost management
  • Analyze customer requirements, operational terms, and performance to support the commercial process and proactively manage credit control
  • Map external stakeholders and contribute to account plans, SOP creation, and the implementation of corporate accounts
  • Drive customer development and growth through performance management, QBRs, development talks, and direct or joint efforts with Sales
  • Identify potential risks and align with relevant teams (e.g. Equipment, Capacity) on mitigating actions and business continuity planning (BCP)
  • Support on educating customers and ensure optimal onboarding experiences
  • Support and participate in contract negotiations and coordinate customer visits
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Service to ensure alignment and strong internal relationships
  • Support on quote processes
Your Profile
  • Have at least five years of specific work experience in a logistics environment as a contract manager or similar role within operations
  • Strong sparring partner and by that support colleagues
  • Being an inspiring colleague and always represent POFM values
  • Have strong accuracy to numbers and a good sense of urgency
  • Are a real team player
  • Have very good knowledge of English and a second European language
  • Have affinity with logistics and transport, especially container and trailer transport throughout Europe
