Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service team is responsible for a correct order acceptance and administrative handling of all orders of the customers of P&O Ferrymasters. By working closely with customers and various internal departments, the Customer Service team is responsible for meeting and exceeding service expectations as set by the customers of P&O Ferrymasters.
So what’s this job all about?

As Customer Service Representative you are the spider in the web between our Customers and operational execution and share in the responsibility to deliver an ultimate customer experience by being responsible for daily communication with customers and ensuring that services delivered meet and exceed Customers' expectations.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for the whole customer order life cycle including administrative activities;
  • Acting as liaison to a dedicated client base;
  • Meeting and exceeding service expectations as set by customers;
  • Maximizing revenue opportunities;
  • Working closely with operational and sales teams in delivering customer expectations
  • Building a constructive and pleasant relationship with dedicated customer base, building a strong rapport with customers and signal upselling opportunities within POFM
  • Ensuring all customer agreements are recorded and applied;
  • Ensuring that Transport Planners and International Forwarders are aware of the orders taken and the level of priority of these orders;
  • Being proactive in solving problems.

Who are you?

As Customer Service Representative you take responsibility and possess excellent communication- and influencing skills with a high-level of commercial acumen.

So you:

  • Are educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s level or equivalent (preferably in Logistics);
  • Have relevant experience in a customer service environment;
  • Have good command of French and English language, complimentary languages are preferred;
  • Self-motivated and well organised;
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
