Director Freight Sales, Nordics

As Director Freight Sales you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional commercial team, which is responsible for retaining as well as growing P&O Ferrymasters customer base across Europe. The main purpose of your role will be managing and developing Region North by leading local Freight Sales as well as Customer relations team and making sure to stay close to new as well as existing customers at any given time. Being an important sparring partner for Product Heads when discussing business opportunities as well as development initiatives.
key Responsibilities
  • Your main responsibility is to lead & steer a small team of salespeople and being overall responsible for P&O Ferrymasters local office in Finland
  • Commercial focus on retaining and growing business in the Nordics together with a dedicated sales team
  • You will contribute with market insights when developing pricing structure
  • You will be the strategic account owner on selected accounts and develop those further
  • Co-develop P&O Ferrymasters core products in the Nordics
  • Report on a regular basis local sales activity
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences and represent P&O Ferrymasters

Your Profile
  • Have at least ten years of specific work experience in Logistics (preferably Shortsea/Trailer/Intermodal) and an internationally oriented commercial environment
  • Have strong leadership skills
  • A real team player with a good sense of urgency
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages / CRM systems
  • A good negotiator and focus oriented
  • Very good working knowledge of English language
