As a Management Accountant, you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to an internationally focused business. The main purpose of your role is to support the finance team in preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
You will play an active part in the company's financial reporting and business support, contributing through accurate analysis, timely reporting, and insight-driven support to guide strategic decision-making. Your tasks will include:
Supporting most aspects of accounting management
Manage and post monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and all sundry journals necessary to prepare the monthly Management Accounts
Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
Assisting in budget and forecast preparation
Supporting internal and external audits
Managing fiscal returns, including VAT
Payroll postings and accounting
Developing reports for management or regulatory bodies
Reviewing accounting data for accuracy
Supporting internal control implementation
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Good command of English; other European languages desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in accounting or a similar role
Experience with management reporting in an international environment is a plus
Proficient in MS Office and accounting systems
Affinity with logistics or manufacturing sectors
Team player, accurate, and proactive mindset
