Meet & Greet Reception Desk Employee

We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented Meet & Greet Reception Desk Employee to be the first point of contact for all drivers entering our site. In this role, you are responsible for smooth visitor flow, accurate timeslot management, and precise administrative processing using key systems such as Transporeon and TMS Fr8.

Key responsbilities

The majority of your time will be spent on administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all related processes. The remaining part of your role involves supporting operational activities at the Meet & Greet desk when needed. Your main responsibilities include:

Welcoming and guiding drivers at the Meet & Greet front desk
Manage timeslot bookings in Transporeon and MS Outlook
Coordinating with loading halls and On Site Logistics (OSL) regarding timeslot availability
Oversee the reception switchboard
Handle ad-hoc requests to support operational efficiency
Communicating directly with drivers via phone, email and face-to-face
Supporting Hybrid Planners by providing clear and sufficient information
Providing consistent, service-oriented communication to all daily contacts
Maintaining accuracy in all administrative activities

Your profile

Good command of the Dutch and English languages
Experience with MS Outlook and administrative tasks
Strong communication skills
Stress-resistant and able to work in a dynamic operational environment
Education in logistics is preferred
Service-minded and accurate
Team player with a proactive attitude
