DP World unifies Marine Services brands to enhance global customer experience

DP World’s Marine Services is unifying three of its key brands – Unifeeder, P&O Ferrymasters, and P&O Maritime Logistics – under the DP World brand identity. These entities will now be known as Shipping Solutions (formerly Unifeeder A/S and Unifeeder ISC), Multimodal Solutions (formerly P&O Ferrymasters) and Maritime Solutions (formerly P&O Maritime Logistics).

The businesses will retire their legacy brand identities and operate under DP World’s name and visual branding across all touchpoints. The branding changes will commence in December 2025 and will include updates across all assets including digital platforms, signage and customer interfaces.

In an industry known for its complexity, this step promises a future where customers benefit from the clarity of interacting with one brand, one interface, and one powerful logistics partner. Unifying the brands marks another milestone in DP World’s transformation from a leading port operator into a fully integrated global logistics provider.

Together, Marine Services businesses form a tightly integrated offering – spanning feedering and shortsea shipping, inland connectivity, specialised cargo shipping, port services, and offshore & energy solutions – for a range of modalities, including container, trailer and bulk, all under one name.

“As supply chains evolve, so must we,” says Ganesh Raj, Global COO, Marine Services at DP World. “Our customers increasingly expect seamless, end-to-end service delivery. Unifying our Marine Services businesses under one brand reinforces our ability to meet that expectation while positioning ourselves for growth in an increasingly complex logistics landscape. Our customers will interact with a unified brand that represents who we are today. Employees will continue to do what they do best, delivering critical services and solutions across the global supply chain, but now under a shared identity that reflects the full strength of DP World.”

A future where trade flows effortlessly

The brand unification is the latest milestone in DP World’s transformation journey from a world-class port operator into a fully integrated global logistics provider. It follows a series of successful brand consolidations across DP World’s ports, terminals, economic zones and logistics verticals.

“We are building a future where trade continues to flow effortlessly,” says Raj. “This brand unification is a natural step in our journey towards simplifying and strengthening our promise to customers, whilst helping them navigate a rapidly changing market”.

That simplicity is entirely designed to make DP World’s Marine Services customers’ experience smoother at every stage. By bringing Marine Services brands under one roof, DP World reduces silos, speeds up decision-making and delivers a consistent interface, whether customers are booking shortsea capacity, coordinating offshore operations, or moving cargo by road and rail from Asia to Europe and beyond.

“From cross-border trucking and rail freight to customs clearance and control tower operations,DP World’s multimodal solutions help customers solve their complex supply chain needs by bringing together rail, road and sea into a single, cohesive offer,” says Timm Niebergall, CEO of Multimodal Solutions – Marine Services.

Under the DP World banner, these services are plugged into a truly global end-to-end network, enabling faster transit times, greater supply chain visibility, and seamless connectivity between inland corridors and international ports. “It’s about unlocking the full value of our network. We’re removing barriers and replacing them with speed, clarity and connectivity,” Niebergall adds.

For shippers, this means end-to-end visibility across multiple legs of transport – whether goods are on the road in Romania, on rail through Germany, or at sea between Rotterdam and Tilbury. With all modes under one brand, response times are faster, exceptions are fewer, and routes can be optimised in real time.

Gearing up for growth

Operating as a single brand means stronger visibility across fleet operations, digital platforms and channels. From road and inland railways to agile feedering ocean networks, we are growing our integrated network of solutions that enables goods to move seamlessly. At the heart of this sits DP World’s Shipping Solutions, which connects regional and global trade via shortsea and feeder services spanning Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Operating one of the largest and most versatile feeder vessel fleets in the market, the business enables direct connections between smaller ports and key hubs – improving market access, shortening transit times and unlocking underserved markets.

According to CEO of Shipping Solutions EAM – Marine Services, Martin Gaard Christiansen, “it’s not just about market access; it’s about improving efficiency and taking out complexity in the supply chain for our customers through our capacity planning and operational execution throughout our extensive network.”

“By unifying under one single DP World brand, we’re giving customers better access to our dynamic network,” adds Christiansen. “And we’re doing it by building a network that adapts faster to real-time trading conditions.” For Christiansen, the brand unification reflects what customers are already experiencing as being part of DP World.

Ganesh Raj will continue to lead Shipping Solutions across Asia, Middle East and Africa, while Martin Gaard Christiansen will continue leading it across Europe and the Americas.

From port harbour operations to deep sea and shallow‑water project logistics, DP World’s Maritime Solutions provides the marine muscle behind complex supply chains.

Its fleet of more than 400 vessels includes anchor handling vessels, platform and offshore supply vessels, multipurpose support craft, bulk handling vessels, tugs, pilot boats, barges, module and project carrying vessels (MCVs). These assets are designed to handle everything from heavy project cargo and renewable energy modules to pilotage, towage, mooring, emergency response, environmental protection, and maintenance of navigation aids in ports, including inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) services.

Its offshore logistics bring together complex vessel operations, shore bases, and quayside infrastructure for the energy industry and oil majors into a single, customer-facing system with real-time visibility, reliability, and performance control. Whether connecting remote inland waterways, servicing energy platforms, or providing bulk transfer and port services across the globe, Maritime Solutions offers customers tailored support with operational depth, flexibility, and technical sophistication.

“This brand unification is about unlocking our collective strength for the benefit of the customer,” says Prasad Narayan, CEO of Maritime Solutions – Marine Services. “Through our offshore, port, and cargo carrying capabilities, we deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Our specialised vessel capabilities and professional teams enable us to support the demands of the energy, ports, and cargo transition and to build a connected network of maritime solutions for the evolving needs of tomorrow.”

Stronger together

The move to unify under the DP World master brand has been welcomed by the Marine Services leadership team. While DP World’s Marine Services has always honoured the legacy of its house of brands, they say the move has brought a renewed sense of purpose. “It’s energising. We’ve known for a while that our true strength lies in how well our businesses connect. Now the unified brand identity will reflect that too.”

For customers, the transition is designed to be as seamless as possible. Behind the scenes, the same teams, transport solutions and infrastructure remain in place, now united by a shared brand identity, and an ambition to deliver more. “This isn’t about re-engineering what we do,” Ganesh Raj, Global COO, Marine Services at DP World, says. “It’s about amplifying what we offer and simplifying how we do it. Now we’ll be able to do exactly that under one name that reflects the scale and clarity we bring to the market.”
